Round 3, 12th May 2019, Manor Farm, Pool Quay

Round 3 of the Dragon Quad Racing MCF British XC Championship took place under clear blue skies, but a week of heavy rain had left the track team with some serious work to do to get the venue ready. They did a superb job working late into the evening to build a fast-flowing course over five miles of Welsh countryside.


DQR’s round 3 was a muddy affair!

The Youth race was first to go out, with a 1.5-hour race and great entry of 17 riders. In the 250cc Hybrid class Daniel Barrow reversed the result from Round 2 and took the win from Tom Bainbridge in second and Lewis Humphris in third. James Maybury took his second win in the 250cc class, from Frank Martson in second taking his first podium since moving up from the 125cc class. Harry Exley was third.
