HANDY HELP FOR BUNCE

January 19 2015.

Two-time British championship runner-up Carl Bunce will switch to a French-built Handy Suzuki this year in a bid to finally win the title. The machine is designed especially to house a 2015 RM-Z450 Suzuki motor, which Bunce is hoping will give him the extra bhp needed to win. Providing the build-up goes to plan he will debut the machine at the opening British Championship round at Hawkstone Park on the 8th of February.

Pont de Vaux winner Yoann Ciclet (pictured here on a Handy) rode one to fourth in the highly competitive French Elite championship last year, and despite missing one of the six rounds he notched up six podium finishes in ten races.

Bunce will get direct support from Handy and its owner Francois Leclercq.

For several seasons Bunce has campaigned an LT-R Suzuki, but his team believe they have reached the limit of the motor’s development potential. However, Bunce will continue to use the LT-R that took him to victory at last year’s Weston Beach Race at next week's Le Touquet beach race.

Bunce will again ride under the Rocketman Suzuki banner. The team will once more include Ant Barrett in the British Masters Championship and Laurence Stopps, who will also ride a Handy Suzuki, in the NORA-MX Clubman championship.
