NORA HEADS WEST FOR SHOWDOWN

September 7th, 2018.

The NORA season finale takes place this Sunday at the excellent natural hillside track at West Meon in Hampshire - one of the best viewing tracks in the south. A full programme of adult and youth classes will be held during the day and with most club Championships still up for grabs the action is likely to be keenly fought.

Probably more keenly fought though will be the traditional end of season mechanic/helpers/marshall’s charity race, with all proceeds going to the ACU Benevolent Fund.

The track has been inspected this week and is in perfect condition, with watering already scheduled in to ensure it is absolutely prime for Sunday.

Club members can enter via the normal ACU entry system and some classes are expected to be close to full (especially Clubman and Masters) so riders are encouraged to pull their finger out if they are thinking of entering.

It will be the club’s first visit to the track this year after the opening round of the championship, scheduled to be run there on 31st of March, was cancelled due to the wet Spring weather - remember that!?

As usual overnight parking/camping will be available. West Meon can be found at GU32 1JY.

Details of NORA can be found at www.nora-mx.co.uk
