WILDCARD FOR WARNIA IN EURO SERIES

April 5th, 2018.

Former European Champion Jeremie Warnia will make a rare quad racing appearance this weekend in the second round of the European Championship in his native France.

The 2012 and 2013 champion, who is focussing more on his blossoming Side x Side career these days, will be among a number of home riders having a one-off ride in the series at Castlenau de Levis.

Britain's Harry Walker will also be making the long trip down to the valley track, near Albi in the south-west, where he will hope to improve on his 15th overall at the opening round in Holland last month.

Fellow Brit Oli Sansom is also due to make his European Championship debut after the disappointment of the opening round, which he travelled to but then didn't turn a wheel, after he was struck down by a virus.

Holland's Mike van Grinsven leads the series after dominating the opening round in the deep sand at Oss, but he will likely face a much stiffer test at this weekend's fast, hard-pack track.
