A team of eight UK riders are off to mark the 5th anniversary Connor Smith Memorial Meeting at Cingoli in Italy, where Connor tragically lost his life in a freak accident while representing his Country at the QX des Nations in 2013.

A team supported by Bill Smith and Carl Robinson from the NETT Quad club will travel to compete in a meeting run organised to celebrate Connor's life. A tribute is made at a commemorative stone placed overlooking the track, and all riders attend with their machines on the Sunday morning before racing commences.

Alfie Walker has a guest ride in the youth class to get his new Yamuski dirty for the first time and he will be joined by seven invited riders close to the Smith family and Connor. The adults are Ayrton Knowles, Matt Alberti, Murray Graham, Mark Wilson, Steve Pinder, Adam Robinson and Harry Walker.

Bill Smith always attends and has a big input into the event to keep Connor's memory alive.
