QUADS HIT THE BEACH AT WESTON PRO NATIONALS

March 24 2015.

E22 Sports will once again be hosting the Pro Nationals Motocross Festival at Weston super Mare on the North Somerset coast in May. Organised as part of a Festival of MC Federation offroad racing, the event will once again cater for quad class that will be designated as the MCF Quad Nationals for 2015.

Similar to last year, track builders will be brought in to build two identical tracks on the sand directly facing the Marine Parade area of the seafront. There will be a limited number of 36 places available for the event so keep your eye on the MCF and Pro Nationals Festival websites for the moment that the online booking-in system becomes live, which could already be the case as the launch is imminent as this piece is being written.

Oxford based Stef Murphy came out on top at last year’s event, taking the overall from Luke Cooper with Oli Sansom, the 2014 MCF QRA British Beachcross Champion, coming home in third after some terrific battles throughout the weekend.

As always with a Pro National Event there is much more going on around the venue to keep everybody entertained than just the racing; so if you’ve got a little bit of spare time you can visit the experience zone, walk around the trade village, or take in one of the Freestyle Motocross, Trials and Stunt Shows. There will also be some characters walking around in the Kids Zone to keep the little ones entertained throughout.

With the invention of the Whoop Loop at last year’s event proving such a hit in the Saturday night the MCF will once again be inviting the fastest qualifying quad riders to take up the challenge alongside the top Minibike and Pro MX racers.

The dates for the event this year are the 30th and 31st of May, so with just over two months to go, don’t forget to beat the rush and get that entry organised at www.mcfederation.com
