The QRA is backing the southern-based CORSE club's plans to run a series of off-road car and quad trials and challenge events.

Tony Nash visited an event recently and was impressed by the friendly, steady, relaxed and yet challenging day of riding.

“It is very different from what we are used to,” commented Tony. “Everyone arrives at each section, has a stroll around it, chats about it and then goes for it, and sometimes it works. But the laugh and the relaxed way the day goes is good fun.”

The first event, which is not just for 4x4 quads, but sports quads can also get around, is at Alton in Hampshire on October the 29th.

The events are MCF sanctioned. Entry fee is £30.00 and each event is planned to run from 10:00am through to 3.00pm.

Round 1 - Brick Kiln Farm, Alton, Hampshire - Oct 29th
Round 2 - Butchers Wood, Uckfield, East Sussex - Nov 19th
Round 3 - Halnaker Chalk Pit, Boxgrove (near Chichester), West Sussex - Dec 3rd
