It’s been a busy few weeks for popular West Midlander Oli Sansom who recently won his first-ever British QX race, was appointed an official Yamaha quad dealer and is currently working on building and sculpting his own practice and test track with track builder extraordinaire Justin Barclay (of Cusses Gorse).

Oli's third place in the final moto of last weekend’s British QX fifth round secured him an overall fifth in the championship, just one point behind George Callaway. “I tried a couple of techniques on my quad in the first two motos at Preston Docks, which failed,” said Sansom. “I put it together for the final race though, with the holeshot and a podium finish. I wish the format could go back to 25 plus two though, as I feel stronger towards the end of the race . Might not suit everyone I guess!”
