SCOTS STEAL SOUTHERN SILVERWARE

February 26th, 2018.

Three young Scottish Quad riders were honoured among an impressive gathering of British talent at the NORA-MX awards ceremony in Oxford. Murray Graham (19) won the NORA U21 Pro Class and Connor Smith Memorial Trophy, Robbie Wood (13) was awarded runner-up in both the NORA-MX and British 100cc Championship, and Rory Wood (11) was presented with awards for taking 3rd place in the same championships. Reigning British Champion Paul Holmes presented the youth awards.

The young Scots, who are all champions on home ground too, are training hard now for the 2018 season when they intend to pursue both British and Scottish Championship titles.

A busy calendar of events ensures thousands of miles will be travelled, especially for Rory Wood who undertakes a 1200-mile round trip most race weekends. Their season kicks off at West Meon, Hampshire on March the 18th followed by the first Scottish Championship round at Tain, near Inverness on April the 1st.
