October 5th, 2019.
Team Ireland in seventh and Team GB in 12th, have both qualified through to tomorrow’s 2019 Quadcross of Nations at Schwedt in Germany.A few incidents, coupled with a gnarly and boggy track claimed a number of victims today, amongst them Team Ireland’s recently-crowned British QX Champ Mark McLernon, who suffered a machine failure in the opening qualifying set. In the next session, Team GB’s Murray Graham crashed on the fourth lap, when in fourth position, and his machine landed on top of him. The final qualifying moto was thankfully incident free for Ireland and GB; Justin Reid claimed fifth ahead of Harry Walker by just 1.5-seconds.

There’s an uphill battle ahead of both teams tomorrow but one thing they can both be counted on is that they will come out fighting. Temperamental weather conditions could well come into play.
