WALKER BROS GET STUCK IN AT BARMOUTH

October 31st, 2018.

The annual Barmouth Beach Race, held in North Wales last weekend, attracted a great turnout of quads across both adult and youth classes.

Harry Walker continued to show his fine form throughout the weekend in the main adult class, winning five races from five starts. Last year’s winner – Oli Sansom – finished second, with quad race co-ordinator Alex Bethell, rounding out the podium in third. Luke Davies was fourth and James Bevan fifth.

In the youth ranks, Alfie Walker started the weekend well with two moto wins but, a few set-backs on day two with kill-switch issues and an ambitious jump, left him in the runners-up position behind overall winner Dylan McKenna. Joshua Talents took the third podium step after grabbing the holeshot on the last race.

A one-two for the Walker family stands them in good stead for the AMCA Skegness Beach Race that takes place over the weekend of 10th and 11th of November.
