WARNIA GOES IRONMAN FOR PDV

May 27 2015.

French superstar Jeremie Warnia is to ride this year’s Pont de Vaux 12 hour race in Ironman mode and ride 11 of the 12 hours himself!

Only the rule which says that PDV must be contested by teams of two or more riders has stopped him doing the whole race on his own.

“I can ride the first and the third races myself, but the middle race, which is five hours long, has to be contested by two riders from the team,” said Warnia at Foxhill.

“So I will team up with Jeremy Forestier, who will ride either the first or last hour of the five hour race,” he added.

Warnia, who won the race last year riding with Romain Couprie, will also be contesting the fourth round of the British Championship at Cusses Gorse on June the 7th.
