WESTON'S QUAD READY

October 18th, 2019.

The annual beach race extravaganza at Weston-super-Mare gets underway tomorrow with youth, quad and sidecar races.

The three-hour adult Quad race, supported by Quadzilla, kicks off at 1pm and there'll be tears before bedtime as an army of quads of all sizes, shapes and descriptions take to the arduous six-mile man-made course.

Just three riders managed to complete 20 laps last year. Returning champ Harry Walker won with a margin of just over three minutes ahead of Cal Bunce, and almost four-and-a-half minutes ahead of ‘boss’ Stefan Murphy. Rhydian Owen put in 19 laps to finish fourth, with fifth and sixth-placed riders Matty Morris and Dean Dillon both on 18-laps.

With multi-winners Paul Winrow and Jason Wildman in the mix, as well as the newly-crowned British QX Champ Mark McLeron, anything can happen!

Schedule
9am to 10.30am - Youth 125/Open Race
11am to 12.15pm - Youth 65cc Race
1pm to 4pm - Adult Quad and Sidecar Race

Good luck to all competitors, and stay safe!
