ACU WITHDRAWS PERMITS DURING LOCKDOWN

November 2nd, 2020.

The Auto Cycle Union (ACU) has advised that, for the period of the upcoming national lockdown, all ACU activity in England should not take place.

In a statement issued yesterday, Sunday the 1st of November, the ACU outlined that any ACU permit issued for activity to take place between the 5th of November to the 2nd of December is cancelled. This applies to competition, practice and training.

The ACU chairman Roy Humphrey said; “We live in an ever-changing situation and it is important that we all keep up to date with Government guidance and advice. The latest announcement made by the Prime Minister was expected, so we need to adhere to what has been said. I want to thank all our organisers for their efforts, their flexibility and their adherence to UK Government and Covid advice issued by their Local Administrations. Let’s see what happens in a month!”
