As the Great 8 revs up for its 2020 return next weekend – August bank holiday Saturday and Sunday – so too is James Bevan, who is one half of the 2017 Great 8 two-man team winners.

2017 was the last running of the event and Bevan won the team event with Luke Davies (pictured standing). Bevan is determined to repeat that win and take the #1 plate home, however, this time he’ll be partnered by 24-year-old hotshot Harry Miller.

“Unfortunately Luke has other commitments this year,” said Bevan. “I’m really pleased that Harry has stepped up to be my team-mate this time and we’re going to give it our all to secure the team win.”

The 2020 Great 8 will be held at Newbury Showground, Berkshire, on Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th of August. Entries close this evening (Friday 21st).
