BUMPER YEAR FOR NORA MOTORSPORT

February 15th, 2021.

NORA Motorsport was set up in 2019 as a new associate of specialist permitting authority and licencing body Nora 92, offering licencing and insurance facilities for a range of two and four-wheel motorsports. Having signed the UK’s main Quad XC clubs to its books, it is now looking forward to a bumper year of quad racing.

Working with both Dragon Quad Racing and Gravity Leisure Club should give NORA 92 licence holders plenty of opportunities to get out racing in 2021. However, the continuation of the Covid-19 pandemic could still scupper some early season racing events.

“I am looking forward to working once again with Ashley and the team at Dragon,” commented NORA 92 chief Roy Barton, “The club always puts on great events, so we are delighted that Kevin and Nikki have affiliated the Gravity Leisure Club with us for 2021.

“Gravity had scheduled to kick-off the year with two dates in March, which will, of course, be subject to further announcements by the government, but there is a great spread of dates across the rest of the season.”

2021 scheduled dates are;
March 7th – Gravity Leisure
March 21st - Gravity Leisure
April 11th – Dragon Quad
April 25th – Gravity Leisure
May 9th – Dragon Quad
May 23rd Gravity Leisure
June 8th – Dragon Quad
June 27th – Gravity Leisure
July 18th – Gravity Leisure
July 25th – Dragon Quad
September 5th – Gravity Leisure
September 12th – Dragon Quad
September 26th – Dragon Quad

“All of the above dates are obviously subject to alteration, especially while we are still in lockdown and at the mercy of Coronavirus,” added Barton. “NORA Motorsport is continuously monitoring the situation and we are pro-active in getting clubs up and running following the first lockdown in 2020. We will once again be communicating with the organisers to get riders out and about in a safe and managed environment as soon as is practical.”

More information about each championship can be found on the individual club websites and Facebook pages. NORA 92 licences will be required for both clubs, with fees starting at just £55 for adults. These can be purchased through www.nora92.com. Personal Injury insurance can also be added to NORA 92 licences for an additional £25.
