Charlie Wheatley, 14, made the most of the third lockdown by designing and, with his dad, building a Suzuki LTR250 hybrid for his 2021 season – a step up from his Yamaha 250.

Charlie is a member of the Gravity LC Club based in the Southwest, and last weekend embarked upon a very busy season by competing in the first of three championships he’s contesting this year. He’s riding in Nora-MX, Gravity LC and DQR 2021 championships, and the next six weeks will involve back-to-back racing for Charlie. When he isn't racing, he spends his free time working for KeyPitts Off Road Adventures, where he's a qualified quad bike instructor.
