The opening round of the Dragon Quad Racing (DQR) 2025 British Quad XC Championship kicked off in blazing sunshine on Sunday the 6th of April at Coney Green.

Over 80 riders turned out in hot, dry and dusty conditions to tackle the hard and rutty track. With soaring temperatures, the riders worked hard across all classes.

Expert + rider Alex Bethell took the win from Zak Orchard with Paul McConway in third. The Expert class saw Joshua Waring take first with Freddie Robinson taking second in his debut race in this class. Chris Keitch was third.
