DILLON CELEBRATES 18TH WITH QXON PODIUM

October 9th, 2019.

Team Ireland enjoyed its third successive Quadcross of Nations podium last weekend in Germany. For the youngest member of the squad – Dean Dillon - it was cause for multi celebrations.

Prior to ‘The Nations’; the Northern Irish lad had secured second overall in the British QX Under-21 Championship, and, as he hit German soil on Thursday, he turned 18 years-of-age. He then went on to be a leading light in the team, making his mark to bring home impressive 11th and eight place finishes in his debut QXoN.

Having been an integral part of Team Ireland, an ecstatic Dillon commented; “I can’t believe we got third - I never thought I’d have my own medal.”
