FIM DEDUCTS GDANSK QX WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS FROM WALKER & GWIAZDA

News in from the FIM SidecarCross & Quadcross World Championships outlines the FIM Fuel Tests decisions of the FIM Race Direction in which they disqualify reigning EMX and British QX Champ Harry Walker, as well as Roman Gwiazda, from the fifth round of the series, held at Gdansk.


The issued statement reads;
“During the 5th round of the FIM SidecarCross & QuadCross World Championships held in Gdansk (Poland) on 6-7 June 2026, the FIM Technical Director, supported by the FMNR Technical Stewards crew carried out fuel controls on 9 different machines (WSC and QCX classes) in accordance with 2026 FIM Fuel Regulations, from the following machines:

FIM SidecarCross World Championship:
Mr Tim Prümmer & Mr Patrick Schneider #17; Mr Killian Prunier & Mr Evan Prunier #94; Mr Davy Sanders & Mr Jens Vincent #109

FIM QuadCross World Championship: Mr Harry Walker #7; Patrick Turrini #51; Mr Jirí Kašpar #96; Mr Sylvain Petit #141; Mr Kevin Saar #311; Mr Roman Gwiazda #416

Among the afore mentioned riders tested from the FIM SidecarCross World Championship, the fuel test of crew #109 Davy Sanders & Jens Vincent was found to be in infringement of the 2026 FIM Fuel Regulations that are directly applicable to the 2026 FIM SidecarCross World Championship Regulations.

Among the afore mentioned riders tested from the FIM QuadCross World Championship, the fuel tests of riders #7 Harry Walker and #416 Roman Gwiazda were found to be in infringement of the 2026 FIM Fuel Regulations that are directly applicable to the 2026 FIM QuadCross World Championship Regulations.

Based on the foregoing and following hearings that took place in the presence of the persons concerned, the FIM Race Direction issued on 15th of July 2026 the decision to disqualify Mr Davy Sanders / Mr Jens Vincent from the IMN 204/05 event, and subsequently Mr Harry Walker and Mr Roman Gwiazda from the IMN 215/05 event.

No appeal against the decisions of the FIM Race Direction has been lodged before the FIM Stewards Panel within the set deadline. Consequently, the decisions of the FIM Race Direction are final.

The final results of the 2026 FIM SidecarCross & QuadCross World Championship Round 5 in Gdansk, Poland have been updated accordingly.”

This ruling means that, with zero points scored by Walker in Gdansk, the Quadcross World Championship standings have changed accordingly;
