FULL RACING RETURNS FOR NORA-MX


June 17th, 2021.


The fifth round of the Nora MX Championship was hosted by the Nora-MX team at Cusses Gorse track near Salisbury, Wiltshire. Spectators were allowed, and the sun shone brightly.


Mark McLernon cleand up in the Pro class ahead of Dafydd Davies and Harry Walker. Alfie Walker, Chad Beevers and Ayrton Knowles were the top three in the Pro-Am.

The Clubman Elite saw Luke Berlyn, Dylan McKenna and Iestyn Rees out front with Lewis Painter, Will Mead and Harry Koller rounding out the Clubman podium. Masters A victory went to Ed Davies, followed by Jonathan McKnight and Darren Hurt. The Masters B was all about Mark Smith, Matthew Kirk and Steven Smart. Both Intermediates and Ladies classes were won by Shelley Smart, with Myles Mott and Max Turner following her in the Intermediates and Gemma Mills and Chloe Green in the Ladies.

The youth classes saw Josh McKnight, Aled Davies and Andrew Black take the top three slots in the 250 Open, with Arthur MacDonald, Louie Holt and Morgan Junge doing likewise in the Air-Cooled group. Reggie Binsten, Olly MacDonald and Seth Balaam went one, two three in the 100cc Geared as did Harriet Mewse, Beatrix Drinkwater, and Josh Smart in the Autos. Finally, the youngest group of the day, the 50cc Auto was won by Harrison Orr, with Shay McKenna and Oliver Dawson second and third.

The sixth round of the Nora-MX Championship is scheduled to take place on the 4th of July.
