JUNGE LAUNCHES SCHOOL FUNDRAISER

March 5th, 2020.

Twelve-year-old Morgan Junge from Beaminster, Dorset, is about to launch an ambitious fundraising initiative in support of Mendip School, Shepton Mallet, which offers support to children on the autistic spectrum.

A JustGiving page will be launched next month and Morgan aims to use social media to seek the support of the quad community. Morgan himself has been a part of the quad scene for the last three years, last season taking the runner-up spot in the Gravity LC 125cc Championship with ten straight race wins from sixteen.

Currently he is preparing for the 2020 quad enduro season, but with the first Gravity round cancelled due to bad weather, Morgan is now concentrating on training. MX Academy’s Oli Sansom has been coaching him, and said; “He’s a great kid. He listens and takes on board everything you say. He is a little superstar.”

This season Morgan is moving up to the 250cc class, riding a Raptor, built and supported by JRC Racing. He has secured sponsorship from Galfer Brakes as well as a kit deal from Yamaha and training support from the MX Academy. Morgan has also had help from Shane Watson, owner of custom graphics company Dirtwarz, who has been instrumental in bringing together the youngster’s sponsors and supporters, with relationships which have grown from his involvement in the Dirtwarz sponsorship programme.
