MCLERNON LEADS BRITISH AFTER TWO OF SIX

Mark McLernon continued to dominate the 2022 British Quad Championship when he posted two wins and a second at round two of the series, hosted by the NETT Quad Club at Dean Moor on the 29th of May.


McLernon didn’t have it all his own way though, as Harry Walker was on great form and determined to close the gap out front, taking the second moto win ahead of McLernon.

Alfie Walker won the Under-21 class, with Chad Beevers second and Luke Berlyn third.

Having won five of the six championship races so far, McLernon has a lead of 16 points over Walker, who has only once been off the podium. Murray Graham is in third place in the standings.

Overall on the day: 1. Mark McLernon 72, 2. Harry Walker 65, 3. Murray Graham 62, 4. Oli Sansom 50, 5. Alfie Walker 44, 6. Jack Naylor 41.

Championship positions: 1. Mark McLernon 147, 2. Harry Walker 131, 3. Murray Graham 109, 4. Oli Sansom 104, 5. Justin Reid 88, 6. Jack Nalor 79.
