NETT’S BACK

May 4th, 2021.

Following an eighteen month lay-off, NETT Quad and Sidecar Club members finally got together at Wooley Grange, County Durham over the weekend of the 24th and 25th of April to restart racing in the North.

The first round on Saturday was held in honour of the late Brian Winrow and the racing in all groups proved to be spectacular.

Murray Graham was there to defend his Championship title, while his Quadcross of Nations teammate Oli Sansom arrived to challenge him. Northern grand master Lindsey Duke came out of quad racing retirement to mix things up a bit and an impressive gaggle of U21 rising stars ensured that the Quad Championship Class was one of the strongest the club has seen in some years.

The NETT Championship, a series of five double-header weekends, moves to Dean Moor in Cumbria later this month, where quads and sidecars will race again on both the 29th and 30th of May. The programme includes the opening rounds of both the British Quad and British Sidecar Championships.
