NORA-MX ROUND 3 FINAL INSTRUCTIONS

Round three of the Nora-MX 2020 Championship takes place at Grittenham, Wiltshire this Sunday the 16th of August.


Riders are reminded that on-line entries only are accepted via the ACU and, at the discretion of the Nora-MX club secretary, via the Nora helpline - 07887 737888. Day licences will also need to be pre-purchased.

Entries close at midday on Friday the 14th of August.

Prior to this weekend’s meeting, there are a few final instructions that the club requires all participants to observe and the full set of guidelines can be found HERE 

In summary;

Gates open at 2pm Saturday and 6.30am Sunday.

Signing on at gate will take place between 2pm – 6.30pm Saturday, and 7am – 8.30am Sunday.

Camping is open from 2pm on Saturday for a fee of £10 fee, paid at the gate on entry. Campers will also receive a camping lottery ticket which be drawn at the Sunday morning riders’ briefing.

All vehicles must be parked in accordance with the social distancing parking instructions of Nora-MX club officials – all vehicles to be parked with awning/door side to neighbours’ blank side.

Scrutineering will take place under the Yamaha tent in the pits at 6.30pm Saturday and 7.30 – 8,30am Sunday – helmets must be presented.

Kill switches will be checked in the holding area at practice.

No machines will be allowed to start before 9.30am Sunday.

Dogs Welcome on leads (please be a responsible dog owner and lift your dog poo).

No Campfires. BBQ’s on stands only.

No loud music after 10.30pm and generators off at 11pm.

No public spectators will be allowed.

Please respect all social distancing and guidance signage as per ACU regulations.

Noise testing will be carried out. The organisers/Clerk of the Course will at random carry out noise testing during any race day.

Final standings from end of round 2 will determine start position at round 3.

Nora MX 2020 a “play nicely” on and off the track and including on social media as poor or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.

8.45am - riders Briefing - all riders must attend

9.30am – onwards;
Three-lap practice
Intermediates & Novice
Pro & Pro Am
Masters A / B
250 Group
50/100cc Group
Elite & Clubman

Race order;
Intermediates & Novice: 12 Minutes + 1 lap
Pro & Pro Am: 20 Minutes + 1 lap
Masters A & B: 13 Minutes + 1 lap (Holeshot prize = Master B)
250’s Group: 12 Minutes + 1 lap
50/100cc: 10 Minutes + 1 lap
Elite & Clubman: 15 Minutes + 1 lap
