QUAD TRAINING WITH SANSOM

May 22nd, 2024.

Oli Sansom has been as busy off the race track, as on it, in recent months. He’s reintroduced his Quad Training School for groups and also offers one-on-one rider training sessions. The team is also taking on workshop jobs.

“I’ve been working with all levels and all ages of riders recently, and it’s been a pleasure to witness their improvements,” explained Sansom. “With young Oli Willsher, on a Raptor 125, we set up his ride height, camber, caster and tracking, as it was miles out. He now goes in a straight line without fighting the quad … we also focused on his cornering and jump approach techniques. He was really pleased with his results and, more importantly, he left with a big smile.

“We’re an all-weather facility and ‘enjoyed’ a wet one with James Walker, Nora-MX Master class rider. We started the day setting up his Honda machine in our workshop, and then hit the track, working on starts and jumping. Great improvements were made in just one day.

“Also, as we all know, quad racing is not just a sport for male racers. I had the pleasure to work with the very talented Ella Robe last week, and spent some time setting up her machine and riding techniques.”

In addition to the training, Sansom Motorsports is taking on workshop projects from basic machine prep to full race preparation and PEP shock service. Workshop spaces are available for quads and motocross bikes.
