RACING RESTARTS UP NORTH

April 21st, 2021.

Quad and sidecar entries for the first two rounds of the NETT Championship are filling up. The first double-header of the 2021 season takes place this weekend the 24th and 25th of April at Wooley Grange.

Murray Graham is the reigning NETT Champion

Due to Covid restrictions, entering on the day will not be possible, but it’s easy to enter online via www.ride-acu.uk – entries close later today (22nd April) at 6.00pm. Day licences and overnight camping tickets can be booked too, so riders simply have to sign in as they arrive, stay socially distanced and get ready to race.

Whether the entry is made online, or by email, a full refund (less ACU £3 charge) will be issued if anyone subsequently can’t attend. Anyone needing assistance with entering should email NETT’s new Event Secretary, Stu Gair at sgair.nett@gmail.com.

NETT has a new Chief Marshal too; long-standing sidecar man Colin Walker. He’s said to be delighted with the initial response he’s had from members and friends of NETT who have already offered to marshal. Anyone else interested in marshalling at Wooley Grange, or later on in the season, can call or text Colin on 07825 913444.

The event also features the opening round of the SMCA Clubman Sidecars Championship on Sunday.

Public spectators are not allowed because of Covid restrictions. Anyone turning up on spec will be refused admission.
