TEAM GB RECOVERS TO TAKE QXON FIFTH OVERALL

Having blasted their way to pole position with super-quick qualifying times, Team GB’s Harry Walker, Dafydd Davies and Oli Sansom experienced a massive setback in the QXoN opening moto.

Walker and another rider crashed in the first turn, while a rock bent the rear sprocket on Davies' machine – they finished at the back of the pack in 26th and 27th.

The team picked themselves up though, with Sansom taking a third and 10th in his two races. Walker went on to take sixth and Davies ninth, which boosted their result to a solid fifth overall.
