A chilly Dardon Gueugnon circuit, in eastern France, welcomed 12 national quad teams to the 2026 Quadcross of Nations.

With British QX Championship vice-champion and QXoN stalwart Dafydd Davies, quad racing ‘vet’ Carl Bunce and British QX Championship top-runner Tom Day in the mix, Team GB were looking forward to a successful ‘Nations’!

Sadly, Tom crashed in his qualification race requiring treatment at the track. The result was a broken wrist, which put him out of the race, and the team were a man down.

Davies experienced a slight gate problem in race 1 and Bunce went wide to miss his team-mate. They finished 12th and 16th.

In the second moto, Bunce experienced problems and had a late machine change. He rode hard and fought for 13th.

Davies gated well in the third race and secured the holeshot. He led for a while and kept a good pace, crossing the finishing line in an impressive 6th.
