Walker gets the inside line with Morgan and Sansom alongside.
The fourth round of the 2025 British Quad Championship roared into action under clear skies and warm sunshine at FatCat Moto Parc. Known for its deep sand and demanding layout, the track had been expertly prepared ahead of the day’s competition, setting the stage for an exhilarating showdown as riders took to the circuit for qualifying.Qualifying: Close margins in the sandFifteen riders lined up for qualifying, all eager to master the fast and flowing sand circuit. Yamaha-mounted Championship leader Harry Walker laid down the gauntlet early, clocking the fastest time of the session and securing pole position. Close behind were Jamie Morgan and Dafydd Davies. With the top six riders separated by just fractions of a second, the anticipation was high for what was set to be close and fast racing.
Walker was on fire at FatCat.Race 1: Walker charges throughThe first moto got off to a flying start with Davies nailing the holeshot and leading the pack into the first few corners. However, it wasn’t long before Walker made his move, slicing through the field with precision and taking control of the race. Once out front, Walker set a blistering pace that no one could match. Davies held strong in second, despite constant pressure from the chasing pack, while veteran Paul Winrow showcased his class with a solid ride into third place.
Race 2: Walker in a league of his ownIn the second outing, Walker was quickest out of the gate, grabbing the holeshot and never looking back. His pace was simply untouchable, and he pulled away with ease, eventually crossing the line an impressive 31 seconds ahead of second-placed Morgan. Davies continued his consistent form with another podium finish in third, further consolidating his position in the championship standings.
Davies leads Winrow and Sansom.Race 3: Hattrick for WalkerWith two wins already under his belt, Walker entered the final race full of confidence - and it showed. He stormed to another holeshot and quickly checked out at the front, leaving the rest of the field to battle amongst themselves. While Walker stretched his lead, Davies fought his way through to claim a hard-fought third consecutive second-place finish. Oli Sansom showed great pace and racecraft to secure third, and round out the podium. Morgan finished fourth, Day fifth and Carl Bunce sixth.
Morgan rode consistently to keep his Chamionship top 3 position.
Overall standings: Walker extends Championship leadIt was a perfect weekend for Walker, who walked away with three wins from three races and extended his lead in the British Championship. Davies took second place and Sansom completed the overall top 3. Consistent results from Morgan and Winrow added to the excitement in the points table. Of note … Tom Day impressed with standout performances throughout the day, significantly climbing the leaderboard and marking himself as one to watch in the rounds to come.
Elsewhere - Day complemented his fourth overall in the main British Championship with another 100% points tally in the National Expert class to increase his lead over Winrow to a healthy 74 points. Louie Holt continued his domination of the U-21 British Championship, picking up 69 points, and extending his championship margin to 65 points ahead of Frank Marston.
Bunce moved up to sixth in the Championship.As the dust settles on FatCat, the championship battle is heating up. With Walker setting the benchmark, the chasing pack will be looking to regroup and strike back in the next round.
